HOHOO!!

I luv SHANDONG!! =DD HAa! Went there for a short exchange trip~~ The food is really very salty!! =.= But I luv e friends that I met there! Especially my roomies, Mel and Lynn although they are always at loggerheads! =D It's really an o one in a lifetime experience since I have never slept on the same bed with 2 strangers before! Haaa.. We have a lot in common though! We are from NBS! mel and i are from girls' sch but we hate it.. lol. They are all shopping queens and e last day they were using a weighing machine to ensure that the luaggage is not overweight. =DD In the end, ours were fine except the big clinque since their luaggage is like 17 kg over! =.= HOJO!! I think everyone is really too enthu abt sha jia!

Met up with my friend, Mushroom! =D Went to her hse and her mum cooked many delicious dishes for us to try! =DD The only regret I have is not buying a bag from Metersbonwe!! =( Sigh! But all the outlets that used to be present in Singapore is now closed down!! =.=

Seriously, I have a feeling that this blog is becoming a place for me to vent my frustrations and record all my events so that one day if I ever live to a ripe age, I can look back and see what I have done! HAa!!

Well, the only thing that I cansay is that I am getting very lazy! Hmm, I am watching lotsa dramas and just surfing the web, go shopping and meet up with my friends. Haaa.. There's been a lot of ME time duing these 3 months since I really need to be with myself again. Oh! The 2 persons whom I go out with ... love you guys lots! HAaa.. Cos I really feel at ease and can laugh and talk without thinking through it.. It's seriously not fun to sensor everything you have to say. Doesnt that mean you are not yourself anymore?? I discovered something! MO is pretty!! Haa.. without her spectacles and with shoulder length hair, she looked more like a biz student than me. zzzz =.= Another discovery is that yy is finally eating more!! Haa.. but you dont get fat!! ZZZ!!

I did a lot of thinking and reflection.. Hmm! I love Gelare's waffle!! =D Haaa.. Oh ya, I tried Aston's western food again after like 1 year and it's not as nice as it used to me. THe crowd has significantly reduced as well.. =(

Welll, did some quarrelling with my sis as usual. But I am glad that we are back to being on speakable terms again.. hahaa.. Cos no matter what, she's family.

Oh ya, my dear CPU spoiled so dad and I had to bring it for repair at SIM Lim square.. ZZ! At the repair shop there was someone with the same Cpu as us! Is that fate or what? =D

Another surprising thing is that many are surprised that I chose that as my major.. WHYYY???????????// =.= It's not that bad what!!! =.= Hahaa!! OMG! Really typing english is much better than chinese!

I am counting down my days! Haaa.. Really looking forward to this sunday!! =D But I have not prepared anything yet! Haaa.. =D I guess that's all the main points tht I have to say.. Oh.. STARS Planner and Stars are irritating! I really dont get the system at all! =.=

HAHAHA!!! It's been like 2 months since I update this space. Okay... Maybe longer than that? Haaha.. I have been very busy during the sem, but once school ended, I gave myself a super long holiday since I wanted to energize myself! =D

Once again, I regretted not studying hard enough since three quarters of the time I was given to study was dedicated to playing games and watching dramas and mangas. SIGH! Therefore, it justified the poor grades I got.

Well. Did lotsa things during the holis! Like k-boxing, going Genting ( I love it! Practically, a FOOD trip for me! Muhaaa!! But, sreiously, please do not buy the ticket for DREAMZ concert. Total waste of money since I fully and sincerely regretted going! They're supposed to perform magic but in the end, I cant deciper wat they are talking about although it's suppposed to be english and their magic is those that you had seen on TV like eons yrs before. =( ), meeting my GOODEST friends and of course, food.. Hahaaa!!

Oh, the highlight was my sister's 21st birthday! Cos I finally met the friends of her life.. =D But didnt talk to them since I do NOT know them.. Haaa.. Thus, basically it was cousin time for me! =D

To end it off, I shall recoomend a place for FOOD and drinks! =D It's O’Learys Sports Bar & Grill at Singapore Flyer!! =D Haaa.. Think it's supposed to be a pub, but the food's great!! =D

BLAHZZ~~~ A lot of things had happened recently! =D Haa.. THat's why I really feel that I am gg a bit insane.. LOL. I realised the more I do not like a person, the more he/she appears in front of me. The best thing is that I still need to smile while I feel like frowning. Life's weird right.

Had the korean concert this thurs! Haa.. Really a big thank you to everyone who came! Hmm. THe person whom I least expected to turn up came and I am so sorry that you lost your way.. Really sorry to yy n mo too.. Cos they ended up at Wee Kim Wee bus stop.. =( Sigh.. The whole concert was delayed because of me.. Haa.. But it was really a very fun experience. Cos everything was so impromptu! =D

I tripped while climbing the stairs towards AH ytd. Sigh. I bruised my hands then i felt some pain sensation coming from my leg. When I turned around, I was so surprised to find my big toe nail dangling as the base of it was still attached. A lot of blood started to squirt out resulting in a big pool of pool on my slippers. Sigh. Limped the whole way down the stairs and 2 persons offered to help. Haa.. Din konw that there are still kind hearted ppl.. =D When I reached the base of the stairs, I called my sis to come out and help me. When she finally came out, my eyesight was fading slowly and my legs became weak. LOL. I ended up hugging the pole and sitting on the floor with my bloodied nail. Sad right? Blood still continued to ooze out. =( We took a taxi and ended up at Anchorpoint. Went to Raffles Medical clinc and my 1st thought was.. " this is so ex!" Haa.. Went in and my sis told the nurse to hurry. When I saw the doc, he was like " Oh gosh.. " Haaa.. Then he tld me he would remove my toe nail and I would need to be injected with anaesthetic. I was like "HUH??!!" Well, after going to another room, I was injected five times and he told hte nurse to clean the wound as he would come in 5 minutes later. In the end, he walked out and came in less than 3 minutes later. The wound was cleaned and the toe nail was plucked out. He even asked me if I wanted it for souuvenit. =.= More cleansing was done. My toe was wrapped into a big bundle. Sigh.. The bill was 100+.. Did not know my toe nail was so worthy. =.= LOL. THe doc seemed very calm to me but my sis told me he kept going in and out of the room and even stared at the ceiling at the reception for a while. Haha... Everyone was scared except me I guess.. =D Blah.. But it was so painful redressing the bare toe. =( I hate this!

Also, why does everyone like to quarrel? Everyone should sit down and talk things thru!! Sigh. Technology isnt that good it seems. The personal touch is gone.

Life's just sickening now! My dear recess week went past me just in a second. Isnt life great?? Zzz.. Got 2 projects today.. One of them is biz law and the other is accts.. LOL. Even a random output number machine loves my group. I wonder why??? Arent I lucky? LOL. Well, got back my 2 testpapers this week and luckily, it was not as bad as I imagined. Sigh...

Friday's the release date of A Levels results. Hope everyone can get good grades especially yy! =D Haaaa..

Recent updates
- went to leonard's bbq on last sat (valentine's day).. Haaa.. It was definitely an eye-opener i guess.. Those who went with me should know what I was crapping about..=D There is a playground with one of dangling bridges.. Super fun! But the sacrifice is a bit of dizziness. There was another interesting game where one should spin the wheel so that the person sitting on the object can move from one point to another.. Haa... My accomplices? Mr Boy and Auntie Zhen.. Haaa..

- my family had a celebration with him on his b'day this tuesday. Went West Coast tgt and we were the 1st to arrive. Hope he likes and will WEAR the shirt.. Haa.. Or else really waste money.. =) He chose Fish & Co in the end and they gave him a seafood platter for two since they misunderstood our order.. Paid the price of one only. Haaa. THe rest of us had fish and chips with rice.. =D The entertaining part is when we asked for the cake, there seemed to be no response. But in the end, all the employees came out and made him stand at the store front on a chair. They even asked him to take the firecracker stick n he obliged. It was so funny. The staff said some cheer and sang him a b'day song. Then when he was asked to blow the candles, the employee put it very far from him.. Leo at 1st wasnt able to blow but in the end, over-exerted n all the tiramisu powder ended up on the person's face and on the floor.. Haaa!!!! It's hard to earn a living nowadays... =D The same person had to clean up the aftermath of the mess.. Went to have some waffle after it. =D Asked them and seemed as if no one knew that this was yr style of celebrating or else he wont have dared to choose it.. Haaa!!! =D Ignorance is bliss i think.

- had 3 quizzes(mon,tues and wed)this week; none of which I did well. Life sucks I guess.

- a lot of projects especially for Fm.. Haa.. But I love my grp mates!! =D

- Zuan's b'day was on this tuesday.. =D Haaa!!

- met up with yy and mo at WM's Coffee bean 2 weeks before i think after my IT project meeting at JX's hse.. =D Haa.. The drink yy and I ordered tasted horrible..=(
- Ya lor, Had meeting at Jx's hse so in the end, I went there twice.. =D LOL. JX said that her mum liked me more than her.. Haaa.. I put past tense k? She's so nice!! I was only talking abt white fungus and she really added it to the desert she made for us! =D

- did contacts last week!! THe degree test took a very long time ( 2 hrs) and we were not done. I was like when is it going to be over. I can even memorise all the lines.. =.= LOL. He was super patient n nice.. Had to go back 2 days later to retest my promblematic left eyesight since it jumps in degrees.. =.= THe spectacle that you wera to test is so heavy!! The grand event of wearing them for first time happened yesterday when i spent my time after quiz in the Spectacle Hut learning how to wear. It's like wearing it takes 30 minutes and taking it off takes 30 minutes. So stayed until all of the other shops started closing again.

- went swimming after a very long time. What compelled me? A very bad IT presentation by me as I forgot what to say on the last slide. Sigh. That's like so wasted since I knew before what I was supposed to say. =( But some said it was ok and not impt since it's over. That's like not a consolation at all. We were the first to present. Sigh. =( Wished I could turn back time.

- went on stage twice this week for EEE performance this week.. Have to really thank Mushroom for all the practices.. =D Reallt sorry to my fm grp.. =(

- some will say they are old, while some will never agree tat they are old. Haaa.. Eg. Uncle. No need to guess cos i will never say who's her/him. =.=

- went to leo's granny's hse with sis.. Haa.. Cos too bored already. Fiddled with the guitar n his uncle treated us to dian xiao er at marina.. =D His aunite is so cute lo~~ While going home, saw KG on the train..
- had the usual gathering at uncle's hse but this yr it was not as crowded as past yrs
- had my own yu shen.. Hahaa!! It's much more tastier than outside ones! =D
- went to jx's hse to bai nian with zuan!! Haa.. the cny goodeies were all hand-made by her mum. Tastes super nice.
- was asked to do a very scary thing. Felt fun at first but feeling the tension right now. =(

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!! =D

This year the celebration is so early that up to now I am still not accustomed to the thought that chu yi and er had just went past me. Haaa.. It was very fun for this year I guess.. Watched Bride Wars at Grand Cathay on monday with leo and sis. It was a good film since it was one of those that is quite close to reality but still can make one laugh at the absurdity. THe ending was quite weird though since one of them realised upon getting married that the guy is still stuck at the memory of her TEN years ago. zzz... After the movie, we grabbed a bite at the basement and walked down to Orchard. This is the first time that it is so quiet on the streets. SAdly, practically no shops were open and I headed to Starbucks to sit.. Haaa..

On tues, my cousin's room FINally had the annual open house.. Haaa.. Really sound and look grand to me!! Haa.. I want this kind of room when I can earn my own keep. Watched Mama Mia in the room!! So comfy.. Haa.. =D Went singing later on with my cousins until quite late. =D

All in all, I can say that this new year is one of the best!! =D

Met up with my cousins on last Friday though cos it was my HALF-BLOODED bro's brother.. LOL! I realised I spent more on drinks than on food that day which is quite saddening. Hmm... Sat had a vivo trip for shopping and I went to the National Geographic thinking it was a museum. But to my surprise, it sold clothes, books and etc. LOved the pics there though.

Lalala~~ Recently I felt that I am super addicted to dramas.. =( Sigh.. Had my reunion dinner today.. Haha.. This is the earliest that I have ever eaten. All my modules super duper dont make any sense to me!!

The things that went past me
- had dinner with yy and mo on yy's b'day at JP! =D The 1st time!!!
- had "outing" with zuan and jx at JP.. Haha.. stood there for 1hr plus trying to find 3 similar earrings. =.= Zuan hates it.. LOL!
- went to orchard with sis for interview and sat on the couple seat with sis while watching Bedtime Stories. Its plot is simple but it's entertaining. The morale of the story? Think about the consequences of your actions.
- leo treated me to Swensens ice cream sometime ago and treated the whole family to sakae sushi teppanyaki buffet at Funan IT mall. =D Delicious! But sadly, the scallop ran out of stock. There was this guy who takes orders with a frown and a girl who was so cheerful. BIG contrast.
- went cck to shop for new year clothes but I ended up buying expensive sneakers. zzz... MY NEW YEAR CLOTHES~~~~~~
- a lot and a lot of projects.. I hate reading annual reports. Dont understand a single thing.
- caught up with a certain person (AH)who's like dead for so long.. Haha.. THe whole convo was super entertaining and contained juicy news.. to ME!! Muhaaa.. =D
- the IT graded assignment was so not finished.. =( SIGH!

Start of another Sem..

Time passes so quickly like the water in a gushing stream or perhaps even a tornado. It's the start of another freaky Sem and I havent done any tutorials yet. Shucks. This time round, almost all the modules concentrate heavily on class particpation and projects. Ya ya. You know what's my next response. Haha.

Someone told me that the more I hate to see someone, the more the person will appear in front of me. I totally agree with you now. Zzzz.. Who ask you to be so accurate!! =( Ya ya. Most of you know it's who.. Haha..

Gramps went into AH again. Sigh. I totally dread growing old in the future. But she's all right now after 1 week inside. =D Treasure whoever is close to you now cos' you never know what's in stall for you in the future.. I am not just talking about death, but also about growing apart, disputes and etc. Life's all about unpredictability i guess.

Hmm, on a lighter note, I would like to wish Yy a happy Early b'day that's like coming in a few days' time!! *Hugs* Muhaaa.. I can guess your disgusted face hor. haa.. Yup, and to mr Ah Pek. Happy B'day and enjoy it in camp hor. MUhaaaaa!!! Not bad right, my memory is better than yours!!! =D

Let me sum up today in one word. F***** UP!! ZZzzzz! I shall not say further.

THis week was quite eventful. Went K-ing with sis, leo and dad at Party World in Liang COurt since it is the newest branch. The facilities are much nicer than KBOX but they are not as updated and do not have as many english songs though. =( I finished all the snacks.. Hahaha!! Then we went for dinner at some italy restaurant which I will never go and eat the chicken again. It tastes bloody!

On wed, went Zoo with mo and yy! =) Haha.. Went to have lunch at Subway before entering. Took lots of photos as the animals were so cute!!! Saw the White Tiger too!! We went for the splash ampitheatre to watch the huge sealion show. by the way, we were smart enough to sit behind the glass as those in front got all wet when the sealion went splash-ing around.. HAha.. were we glad! It started to rain after we got out from the show so we went to hide in Ah Meng's restaurant. Hmm, at the end of the trip, we ended up at the Kid's World and played the game of pulling the raft over the water. Waited for like eons years cos the kids were like occupying it for a super long time. Sigh... But we finally got to play with it. The only regret? Not seeing the elephant exhibit. =D

Thurs, went pract in the evening and then went to Jp to eat Zhou Gourmet Buffet with my family whose boss is the boss of Sam Leong. Haa. I saw a lot of Sam Leong's pics in my corner and was I shocked. The good thing is that they offer my fav food, Peking Duck Skin in crepe. HAaa..

And blah blah blah.. Shucks. School's starting soon and I am still in my holi mood~. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

YOYOYO!!! =D HAhaa.. realised that this needs updating.. LOL! First of all, I am so delighted that I passed all my modules! Cos I initially thought that they will be all gone for good. Hmm, the ntu webby actually crashed! LOL. =D

Well, the next good news yesterday was that LC invited me to her 21st birthday this sat! HAha.. Super looking forward to it to catch up with her( *gossips*).. =D

Hmm,went out with joee, hk, euc, rach and yt for a class outing. HOWEVER, it was cycling so that explains all. I am either way ahead or way back. =.= The best part was that all the unlucky things happen in the same day for me. 1st, it was the stupid mrt that broke down. Then, I forgot the bus no to take to ecp. Followed by the rental bike producing a lot of screeching sounds which seriously irritated me. The best part was that I keep nearly banging into ppl as it was so crowded and there's like no place to cycle with a lot of ppl cutting lanes. My toes HURT a big time. LOL. But thanks to Joee for accompanying me! ( I thought I was the last one to reach but in the end, I turned up to be the 1st..zzz) =D

Did I mention going out with bro, mag n leo to douby ghaut ( just acia! Super nice!! ) to eat and afterwards, walking to wisma ( i think) to sit at the starbucks to chat? HAha.. Thanks for treating us to a cup each! =D ( But i returned the favor hor..) =D

Btw, JP has a super big new extension. HAaa.. Tried to shop but nothing caught my eyes.

Haaa, cant really rmb what else I did... Highlight my hair? Oh ya, which someone say it looks like a gangster's hairdo. Still going for my regular practs and had Rite Pizza for dinner tgt! Haaa.. GX, RL and me stayed until quite late to play with the videos. LOL! It was super hilarious... =D

I AM HAVING A DAMN FLU NOW!! It's so irritating.

Last wk's pract was funny.. I am like the worst but 2 newbies came in... In the end, my trainer told me," You have two dian di de." Hahaha!! Heaving a sigh of relief(oops!). =D Had dinner with rl and gx since we were the last few to leave after chit chatting.. Food's real nice!!

Well, had Seoul Garden with cousins and the meat there is a super turn-off for me now! Hee.. But I love the ice cream and of course my handmade ice kacang! =D For now, I shall wonder what shld I prepare tmr and how to endure the pract later. SHUCKS!

WAKAKAKA!! Went to watch " The Day The Earth Stood Still" yesterday.. It was raining heavily when I left so there was a stupid jam which made me late for it. Sigh. Haha.. Overall, it was a good one and I especially loved the way they depicted how humans normally react to various situations like selfishness, how the US think that they are almightly and so on so forth. Had PastaMania right after it.. Apple crumble pie is damn big, can?! Oh ya, there was a couple which left quite late after it ended cos they were all over each other and when i went out, they were surprised. LOL. Below is a trailer from the movie.

LaLAla~ Haha! That totally describes my mood now! =D

I went to K.L and genting with my family this wk and enjoyed myself immensely. BUT i gained a LOT of weight again. zzzz. What's new?!

Yesterday, went out with mo and yy to ecp. Haha.. THanks yy for putting my black bag into her bicycle's basket cos I forgot how to cycle again. Muhaha. We cycled quite a long distance before waiting for the sun to set which was especially nice. =) Took photos and blah.. 3 hungry ppl went to eat Carl's Jr and experimented with the iced tea which requires some slices of lemon and sugar syrup. The bad part of the day was that it rained when we got out. =( Haha.. But yy took all the drinks and her combo while mo took our combo.. So what did I take? My own bag.. LOL. But really appreciate them. The rain got heavier and we cycled in the rain then out of it. ( tot that it stopped raining) but then we cycled into it again, and then out of it. LOL. Returned our bicycles and walked to find someone but she was not there. So we ended up eating while an elderly sat next to us in the shelter watching lu ding ji. haha. YY realised her drink has a lizard on it and ran to mo's bench and i followed. Lalala~ talked and talked.. Went back home afterwards on a long trip on the bus.. BTw, we now know where mo's staying.. muhahaha!!

BTW, i only got 3 brusies + 1 wound this time! Yay!! And the wound was caused by the metal wire that i did not see when i walked to sit on the bench. zzzzz.. Wish me luck later.. LOL.

YOZ!! HAvent been able to update it due to my exams. haa.. Okay, need to admit that i was actually watching a lot of dramas and not studying. =.= LOL. These few weeks went by in a breeze. Plus the fact that i did pretty badly for all my modules. =(

Thanks to all who wished me a happy b'day although it's quite sad that i am OLDER. Shucks! =.=

A summary of the essence of the weeks..
- celebrated my birthday twice with my family. haa! CA at marina square is not bad!
- bought a new BIG bag for myself ytd. (it was unexpected. haa. Zinc roxs!) =)
- went to airport to fetch my dad who was so delighted that he smiled ear to ear. =)
- Got a handphone strap for my bday present from my bro who bought it on his trip to taiwan.
- got a bag from my sis and a pizza treat from her bf. LOL.
- Someone who was sad became happy after 2 days for some reason. LOL. If this person is reading, remember your promise to me hor! LOL.
- discovered some new gossips on bus 180. haaa..
( that's all of the main pts i can think of)

And lastly, exams are OVER!!!!!

Looking forward to meeting with mo and yy tmr! Haha.. =)

YOOOZZZZ!!! I hav been slacking over the weekends+ today. SHIT!!! =( Anyone has any idea to stop my stupid slacking moooodddd...???? ZZZzzzzzz.. Finally had my lovely dim sum yesterday.. haha.. the egg tart was the best! =) Did I mention that No Signboard at Geylang was great?? Hahaa.. Now I did! But the yam ring was disappointing and the chilly crab sauce was weird. =.= Besides that I enjoyed my night. Went to try some dou jiang you tiao along the street too.. It was fabulous! HAhaa. Reminded me of JJ's song. Yup yup. Also went to eat some famous hokkien mee which was like damn expensive for a very small plate. Really did not understand what is so nice anout it that made many people fall in love with it. =.= HAhaa.. realised that I should become food critic..

I dont really know if i should love or hate this song Anyclub.. =( ALL my muscles are still crying in agony now and it has passed THREE DAYS! zzzz... Even the simple action of sitting on the floor is a painful experience for me now... =(

OH ya. I cut my hair FINALLYY. Shucks. It looks ugly. =( The hairdresser was super funny.. She cut my hair halfway then went to attend to other customersand came back like 5 minutes later. THe BULK of my hair is gone thanks to her n i did not have a lot of hair to start with. =.=

LOL.. What to say..?? This week was quite hectic.. as usual..

Had marketing meeting on tues until evening.. When I went home i was already reduced to half a jul. Still had to kill the chapters of my econs quiz but sadly I was very attracted to my swweweett bed. So ended up reading 1 page sleep 30 mins. LOL. Prepared for the speech quite fast cos mine was only the intro.. Haha.. =) Lucky manzz.. Cos STAGE FRIGHT.

Wed.. Presentation in the morning and ill-prepared quiz at evening = Lethargic. JX still din come for my presentation. Dun like my grp hur. =.=

Blahz. Yipee!!! Got back my partial OB results and it's not bad. =) At least we dont need to use tissues. LOL. Quite afraid for tommorrow's results though, cos the OB presentation results will be out.. ARGH!!

Just wanted to say that sometimes you might say others have not spared a thought for you, have not asked about you and etc that caused you to feel hurt. But have you ever thought about how your words can hurt others deeply when they ask about you.. and what you tell them is that it is better after drifting from him alhough he has done no wrong?? LOL~ Today went to Ob meeting for a short in the morning.. Went to Bugis to shop and eat with my sis and mum since it has been a long time that we go and find her for lunch. Decided to eat Seafood Harvest (baked rice with chicken and mushroom) while they ate the set lunch special which was grilled fish with some yellow sauce and calamari rings. LOL. No one wanted to even take our orders although there was like only 1 other customer. What the!!! The waiters served us fried fish which was not what we ordered. THey took back and then served the grilled fish like years later.. =.= THe service attitude is so poor!!! =( Went back to ntu for the part 2 of ob meeting. =)

YOZ! I totally enjoyed today~ Finally met up with the 2 da mang ren! =) Hmmm.. Was late as usual.. Mm ran all the way from the streets to the met cos we didnt want to get out of the train. Heez.. tried Popeye's coleslaw and mash potatoes today. NOt bad! =) Walked, walked and walked. Until we finally sat down and mm started teaching~ Her voice made me nearly go to sleep. LOL. =) Went to T2 fishhy for dinner.. Hahaaa.. THe best part was we finally took photos!

Ps.. I love the fishy there.. It is the best one that I have eaten for fishy branches.

But it is quite SAD. Cos i know that it will be 2 months later until I can see them again. =( Everyone's damn BUSY. AARRGGGHHH!

YoZ!!! =) Had quite a fun week if not considering the OB assignment which is more like cutting words than thinking about ideas.. =.= LOL... I went to the maths room on wednesday, then this uncle came in. I actually thought he left something in the room so I smiled at him and went about to msn later.. Who knows when i looked up, I saw him scurrying again. Then my sis had to tell me that he looked around the room,ran in front of me and took a photo then ran off again. Firstly, I admire him for his quick relexes but I have human rights okay??!! However, I never gave him my permission to take photo and I dont want to appear in a foreign uni magazine or his collection of photos.. =.= Okay, that was inferred from leo cos he said he saw him with a group of foreign students.. DIE.. Somemore, I am from e wrong faculty.. =.=

MUhhahaa... celebrated mid autumn festival with my relatives tonight @ grandma's house.. =) Well, a picture tells a thousand words.. You can see all the typical food that we eat every year. Someone asked a super puzzling question, whch is "what has bananas got to do with the festival?" LOL.. I have totALLY NO IDEA. The one who asked this question please 'fess up!! =) We played fireworks ( some have sound and some don not have) and the terrorist came home. OMG! Still remember him after all these years.. Blah. Had a terrible headache today which hurts even if i moved an inch. It was the marketing lecturer's last lect. Played the Pearl Harbor song as usual during breaks. I was sitting on a bus to somewhere today and it passed by a place with police tape around the canal. A lot of people were gathering around the scene and some even took photos of the scene with their handphones. Are Singaporeans so curious or are they going overboard? I am so angry today.... =.= Something that was very unethical happened and I think I was the only one who was truly pissed off.. just great. Sometimes when I think back, I wonder if I have chosen the right course. But what's done cant be undone I guess. =(

On a brighter note, I tried a new store selling Fish and Chips.. haha.. =) However, the portion was very small and it is not as fantastic as i thought. Haha.. my days are getting crazier.. I tried this chicken rice at canteen b and i realised that the flesh of the chicken is quite little. Sad right?? Ad it costs the same as outside. 2 bucks. Drank each a cup!! Yipee.. finally tried it but really it is not as nice as the ones outside eve though it costs 20 cents lesser than the ones that i get outside. =(

At the econs lect today, the prof actually pronunced charge as judge. Then i stupidly wrote it down as judge even after jx told me the correct version.. Sigh.. My batt is going down, down, down, down.

No one really knows if that really occurred since the thai government havent list out the evidence.. Really felt that he was a "people's leader" during the time of his ruling.. Thai court to hear fourth case against Thaksin

BANGKOK (AFP) — Thailand's Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a fourth case against Thaksin Shinawatra, accusing the ousted and exiled Thai premier of amending tax policy to enrich his business empire.

Thaksin fled to Britain with his family last month claiming he would not get a fair trial on the corruption charges mounting against him, but prosecutors have forged ahead with the cases.

"The court has found that this case is in the court's jurisdiction," Judge Pongphet Vichitchonchai said, setting the first hearing for October 15.

The case accepted Monday is related to Advanced Info Service (AIS), one of Thailand's biggest mobile phone operators and a subsidiary of Shin Corp, the telecoms giant founded by Thaksin.

An anti-corruption body set up by the junta which overthrew Thaksin in September 2006 has accused Thaksin of changing a telecoms concession fee into an excise tax in 2003, saving AIS money in a concessions deal.

Thaksin eventually sold his family's stake in Shin Corp to Singapore's state-owned investment unit Temasek for almost 1.9 billion dollars.

The January 2006 tax-free sale sparked massive street protests that eventually culminated in the 2006 coup.

Most of the money linked to the sale -- about 76 billion baht (2.2 billion dollars) -- has been frozen by the anti-graft body.

The Supreme Court is due on September 17 to decide whether Thaksin and his wife Pojaman are guilty of collaborating to enable Pojaman to purchase a prime piece of real estate at a cut price.

Pojaman was on July 31 convicted of tax evasion and sentenced to three years in jail. She appealed, but analysts have said the court decision against her stunned Thaksin and helped spark the couple's flight into exile.

The Supreme Court has issued arrest warrants against both Thaksin and Pojaman for skipping a required court appearance.

OMG... I realised that governments do lie to other governments from other countries..

JALALABAD, Afghanistan (AFP) - - Afghan police Wednesday found the bullet-scarred body of a Japanese aid worker, a day after he was kidnapped in eastern Afghanistan, a district governor said.

Kazuya Ito, 31, who had spent the past five years working in the war-ravaged country, was seized on his way to his daily inspection of an irrigation project being built by his employer.

"We found the abducted Japanese man minutes ago. He has been shot several times," Kuz Kunar district governor Malim Mashouq told AFP.

Ito's Afghan driver and translator, who was abducted together with him and freed after several hours, recognized the body, Mashouq said.

A police spokesman waiting at the foot of the mountain where the body was found also told AFP that it seemed to be Ito. "But we are waiting to see in person to make 100 percent sure it is him."

In Tokyo, Japanese officials said that a body was being transported to the eastern city of Jalalabad for identification and that one of its diplomats was heading there.

Afghan authorities told Japanese diplomats that the corpse "was a male body that appears to be of a Japanese national," Ichita Yamamoto, Japan's state secretary for foreign affairs, told reporters.

An official of the Peshawar-kai non-governmental group who employed Ito confirmed the killing.

"Yes they (police) have found him unfortunately dead," the group's local deputy manager Noor Zaman told AFP.

Another official, who declined to be named, said Ito was shot twice in the leg and bled to death.

The Afghan interior ministry said they had launched a massive operation involving police and "500 villagers" to look for Ito.

"Police closed the circle on abductors, that is why they left him there bleeding," the source said.

Ito's aid group was founded by Tetsu Nakamura, a Japanese doctor who has set up projects across Afghanistan and Pakistan for more than two decades and was an outspoken opponent of the 2001 US-led war that ended Taliban rule.

It was the latest in a string of attacks on aid workers that have left 25 dead in Afghanistan and raised alarm over the state of the country seven years after the removal of the Taliban regime in late 2001.

Part of a deterioration in security has been a spike in kidnappings, some carried out by the Taliban, who were in government between 1996 and 2001, and others by criminal groups seeking ransom.

In the deadliest such attack in years, Taliban gunmen shot dead three Western women and their Afghan driver on August 13 as they were driving to Kabul in a vehicle marked with the logo of their group, the International Rescue Committee.

An Afghan employee of a French aid group, Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED), was found murdered in the north last week, two days after he was abducted, his organisation said.

Japan has been a leading donor to Afghanistan since the Taliban fell, but has lost two citizens to violence there. Two teachers, a man and a woman, were shot dead in 2005 after apparently going to the insurgency-plagued province of Kandahar on holiday.

Do you think that more aid workers should be deployed to Afghanistan?? I really dont think so right now. Their interior minister can actually lie about a person's life just for the sake of his country's reputation.. Without even caring about a person's life. It's a life.. with flesh and blood.. and his family members might have been relieved to hear the fact that he's safe but the next news they hear is that he's dead. That's like lifting a person into the sky and hten making him crah all the way down. Isn't this cruel?? They could have just owed up that they are still unable to save him and ask for assistance from the japanese. What if other people who have good intentions to help the country also end up with such a fact.. Really, if one wants to do charity or help out others who are less well-off, please go to some other country that has a government with integrity and honesty. =(

shucks... i just thought of adding something for the bicycle part. It's actually not safe to cycle at ecp. Haa.. If you meet people like me who can speed but cannot brake.. There was this time that I nearly crashed into a group of people at midnight and my friends were like oopps.. =) Also, I actually went to ecp with my e colleagues without cycling as it was raining damn heavily. =( But it was a great chance to catch up with them.. Heez.. thank guys.

Today's topic - Bicycles!!

Hahaa.. sounds weird for a topic right? No worries as I am not going to state the mechanics of a bicycle. =) I am referring to the vast number of bicycles that have been cycling on the pavement that is supposed to be meant for pedestrians. I have nothing against the cylclists (like duh.. dont even know them..=.=) but should they be allowed on the pavement? THey make the pavement risky to walk on as some do not even bother to ring the bell before they crash into you. Sigh.. Had a near accident whereby the male cyclist nearly banged into me and he was like 0.01mm away from my leg. The best part of it is that he didn't even apologise for the carelessness. What happened to the gracious society that we are supposed to be living in? Hopefully, there will be measures taken. For instance, have a lane on the road that caters just for them like in China where this system currently exists. Hopefully..

I really think i am going to go crazy sooner or later judging from my roller coaster feelings today.. A moment ago I felt like laughing, while another I felt like screaming. =( Yup, went for group meeting today. =) But wasted the 4 and a half hours thinking of random things + listening to songs.. Realised that I am getting more and more unproductive lately.. Felt so cold today as the wind blew past me with the rain spattering on my legs as I was walking.. *so random* =.= Sigh. I was telling my sis earlier that I couldn't get into the com and she was like "You dress so sloppy and your english is so bad. Bits and pieces.. " I was like "Hmm. Arent you supposed to be comforting me instead of making me feel worse?!!" Great. She made my day. =(

Went forum and saw that ben improved to 1 crutch! Yay!! Jia you! =)

I am suddenly feeling very pissed off towards myself. Spent the whole day idling away.. My tutorials!!! =( Sigh.. Another fruitful day for me and I just realised that I know nuts about html and yada yada.. Great! =.= I must and I will finish it. Currently waiting for the results of my interview as the interviewers said that it will be released this week. Hoping that if all things go well, I can get into the main com or even the sub com.. Singaporeans vs FTs...

Hmm.. Discovered a new link that is quite sadistic.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMxTcRs3KDU .. It is about the unfairness between the treatment of Singaporeans and FT (aka foreign talent) in Singapore. (duh..) I really on not understand why FT are always being held in high esteem by the government. I do understand that they contribute to the economy but do they really invest their money in Singapore?? I have heard of many cases whereby when these FTs are interviewed, they said that they will move to another country to retire.. So is Singapore just a place for them to earn money when thry are young? Will their hearts still remember Singapore as a place where they enjoyed their youth or as a country that gives them cold hard cash? This is a question to ponder seriously.

P.S.. By Ft, i am referring to those white collar workers not the blue collar ones.

back to the topic..
I realised that lots of people in forums complain that the eldery always complain about the youths not giving up their seat or even about them scolding them if they do give up their seats. Here, I suggest that we can learn from China's culture whereby the young will automatically give up seats for the old and the old will accept it graciously. Isn't it better that way? Thus, the eldery will not feel that the young are looking down on their decreasing ability and strength. The young will also feel that their actions are appreciated.. Yup.. THat's my food for thought in the morning.. haa.. =)
